postfix virtual alias maps

vi /etc/postfix/virtual_alias_maps

add following

[email protected]  [email protected]
[email protected]  [email protected]

Now run

postmap /etc/postfix/virtual_alias_maps


TESTING

postmap -q "[email protected]" hash:/etc/postfix/virtual_alias_maps

You will get

[[email protected] vmail]# postmap -q "[email protected]" hash:/etc/postfix/virtual_alias_maps
[email protected]
[[email protected] vmail]#


Now add edit /etc/postfix/main.cf

vi /etc/postfix/main.cf

Add following

virtual_alias_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/virtual_alias_maps
virtual_mailbox_domains = bizhat.com

Restart postfix

postfix reload

Now send a mail to [email protected] and see if mail alias (forwarding) works, you will get the mail in [email protected]

If it works, continue with next step.
